Toyota set to reveal Nissan Juke rival

Toyota looks set to produce its own crossover model, combining the size and shape of a five-door hatchback with the raised ride height and chunky styling of a small 4x4.

The new model will be aimed squarely at the Nissan Juke, the car which started the craze and which has proven popular here in the UK.

Toyota will preview its Juke rival with a concept car called the C-HR, which will be displayed at the Paris Motor Show.

The concept will feature a hybrid drivetrain, which strongly suggests that a hybrid version of the production model will be made available when it arrives in showrooms.

Toyota says that the C-HR will combine “a powerful new design language with an engaging driving experience”.
